Warranty Policy
Read our terms, response times, exclusions and brands covered by the AREAINFO warranty. Official information valid as of today.
Coverage conditions
The warranty period begins on the invoice date and is valid only against presentation of the original invoice.
Each line item on the invoice specifies its individual warranty term.
Warranty service response times range from 2 to 10 business days depending on the issue.
If a product replacement is required during the warranty period, it is subject to stock availability.
Exclusions
The warranty is NOT valid in the following cases:
- Defects or damage caused by abnormal use of the product.
- Defects or damage caused by misuse, accidents or negligence.
- Defects or damage caused by improper testing, maintenance, installation or adjustments, or by any modification or alteration.
- When the product has been altered, disassembled or repaired by the customer or by persons not authorized by the manufacturer or AREAINFO SAS.
- When the label containing the mechanical and electronic serial number has been removed or is illegible.
- When defects or damage are caused by dust, moisture, excessive heat, food, liquid spills or sand.
- When the plastic surfaces of exposed parts have been scratched, damaged or hit due to abnormal use.
Exceptions
Power supplies are not covered by warranty.
Equipment of brands that have local official service is not covered by AREAINFO warranty. Each such brand provides its own warranty.
